Default "The Most Fun I Have Had In GW"

...Just Happened.

Alright...

My main has never done the mission in Ice Caves of Sorrow. I decided to try it out, because I am bored out of my friggin mind.

I pg'd, and set out. Then I realized this mission includes Mursaat in several places, in large numbers. I have not yet infused my armor, so naturally, it was a suicide mission.

The funny thing is, my entire party, all of them players except for one healer henchman, were not infused, but all stated it did not matter.

LMFAO!

Needless to say, we were made into hamburger, but we managed to get all the way to the ice-ship portion of the mission, where we are supposed to escort that dipshit woman to her boat. The glorious leader of our expidition, whom I will forever refer to as Roger Wabbit, told us to WAIT, until the small clusterFOOK of mursaat passed by in a deadly parade, so that the stone summit catapults would siege them into paste. Then, the truly funny happened:

They got to the siege engines, and...stopped moving. They also stopped being HIT by the siege engines. They also stopped attacking anything. They stood there. Everyone said "wait it out".......

25 minutes later, I had pretty much become fed up, so I declared that, as long as everyone agreed, I would use Meteor Storm, and shower those mursaat nimrods with 90 damage per second for 9 seconds, and thus, most likely, sacrifice myself. No one objected, so I set to my grim task.

As I died from the mursaay bending me over and calling me bunnylove, total, unadulterated verbal chaos ensued.

I heard words that weren't even words. People were really losing it. They agreed to do it again, then the EXACT SAME THING OCCURED.

I am still laughing.

For the record, if I remember right...doesn't Ice Caves of Sorrow come before the mission where you're supposed to get infused...? You're not supposed to be infused for that mission, you're not supposed to fight very many mursaat peoples. Still wonderful, though, that they just stood there and didn't get killed by the catapults. If only we had screenshots.

Yes, the leader was correct you were supposed to wait for the mursatt to pass and get killed by the catapults. However, I never seen them stop before the catapults all the time I have done the mission. Unless A-Net made it where they no longer kill themselves in the catapults which would make the mission 10 times more harder. What, is it concidered AoE?

The first time I did the mission I never even waited for them, I didn't know they were coming until me and my henchies had already run ahead. So we had to kill/outrun them all the way to the end and sprint on the boat. We made it, and it was pretty easy, still.

Yeah, they are the people that use stupid words like "nub" and "pwn", complain about "nerfing", and ask why the monk couldn't heal 300 points of consecutive damage.

Yes, that was the plan as I know it. Wait it out. Even the bonus we always waited until we were infused (On the next mission) and came back later for it.

My most fun is still going on....our guild is a Blast. We seriously are trying to raise our Guild Rankings....not that successful, however, it is real fun trying....

Also our Guild Members are very generous between each other. Never has anyone charged anyone in the Guild for anything.

Finally sorting out my Monk build to be a damned fine Healer.

After numerous wins in a row in the Arena I was feeling exceedingly good about myself.

Thius was unfortuneatly followed by one of my worst feelings, realising I'm useless when a Mesmer comes along and hexes the life out of me and I realise there's one more skill that I really should have.

interesting....i never knew "oob3r" w/mo's with eviscerate, a blue-modded chaos axe, an eternal shield and 15k gladiator's could actually do something productive.

yes waiting is the best option, and you shouldnt ever have to touch a single mursaat. unless they get stuck like that...that sucks. to my knowledge, anet has not nerfed this. i went on this mission with my ranger yesterday, and it still worked.

"DE-volved"

The most hilarious thing about the whole damn run is, they TOLD me to rush the Mursaat, so they would chase me to the left some, so that the party could make it, and thus sacrifice myself for the good of the party.

when I did it, they all became pregnant women without sedatives on moment zero.

LOL.
